Howell police said Fort Plains was closed between Bergerville Road and Arrowwood Court in the Wyckoff Mills section of the township. The road reopened by 8:30 p.m.

The investigation remains ongoing, prosecutors said. Anyone with information about the crash should call the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office at 800-533-7443 or Howell Township Police Department at 732-938-4111.
